Finding Margaret - 71 Years Of Longing

In November 2022, Jean Friend  contacted "Brief Lives - Rememberd", asking if we would search for the resting place of her much loved twin sister Margaret who was Stillborn February 1951.. A short time later we were able to inform jean that we had located Margaret's resting place. Read more..


Coping at Christmas

When your baby or child has died, Christmas can be unbearably difficult. The whole world seems to be celebrating, everybody appears to be obsessed with preparations, which seem to go on for weeks. These confront us at every turn - in shops and streets, on TV, radio, in magazines. We can often feel isolated by our grief.

As we contemplate Christmas – we wonder how we will survive. It is normal for parents to feel they just want to ’cancel’ Christmas. Read More..

Baby Loss Awareness Week in the UK - Now in it's 20th year.                                                  Every year since 2002 from 9th - 15th October is Baby Loss Awareness Week. Throughout the week bereaved parents, family members and friends can commemorate the all-too-brief lives of their babies., knowing that thousands of other families elsewhere in the world will be doing the same. In the Autumn of 2017 the family of baby Brian Grant contacted "Brief Lives - Rememberd", asking if we would search for the resting place of their much loved son.and brother who was Stillborn February 1957..
